The company is also involved in coal trading and mining; domestic shipping; installation, construction, operation, and generation of electric power; Industrial estate operations and supporting facilities; trading and distribution of lubricants; and import and supply high speed diesel, fuel oil, and industrial diesel oil.
The company was formerly known as PT Aneka Kimia Raya Tbk and changed its name to PT AKR Corporindo Tbk in September 2004.
