Xtrackers Portfolio UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund of fund launched by Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management Investment S.A. The fund is managed by State Street Global Advisors Limited. It invests in funds which invest in public equity and fixed income markets of countries across the globe. The fund uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in the funds which invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. For equity portion, it invests in the funds which invest in dividend paying stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. For fixed income portion, the fund invests in funds which invest in sovereign debt, corporate bonds, inflation linked securities and money market returns. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Portfolio Total Return Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. The fund was formerly known as db x-trackers - Portfolio Total Return UCITS ETF. Xtrackers Portfolio UCITS ETF was formed on November 27, 2008 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
