In addition, the company is involved in infrastructure activities comprising locks and weirs, immersed tunnels, bored tunnels, cut and cover tunnels, quay walls and ports, marine and inland waterwaterway jetties, and foundation works; and concession activities, including offshore wind concessions, dredging and infra concessions, green hydrogen, and global sea mineral resources.
Further, it engages in the provision of operations and maintenance, logistics, repair and decommissioning, as well as salvage services; geoscience services and the installation of suction pile anchors; contracting services for marine infrastructure projects; and marine aggregate business.
The company was formerly known as Dredging Environmental and Marine Engineering NV. The company was founded in 1930 and is headquartered in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.
