The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE China A50 Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Asia Trust - iShares FTSE/Xinhau A50 China Index ETF. iShares FTSE A50 China Index ETF was formed on December 13, 2003 and is domiciled in Hong Kong.
