In addition, the company is involved in the energy supply, waste management, and logistic services; offers animal protein; trading and manufacture of beverages; exploring and processing of minerals; deep processing of nonferrous and precious metals, such as tungsten; producing chemicals for manufacturing of paper and additives; chemical analysis and physical measurement data activities; provision of market research services; and breeding of swine.
Further, it provides agricultural, financial, warehousing and storage, telecommunications, and laundry services; and manufactures convenience food and bottled water.
The company was formerly known as Ma San Group Corporation and changed its name to Masan Group Corporation in August 2009.
