Satrix Resi ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Satrix Managers (RF) Proprietary Limited. It is managed by Sanlam Investment Management (Pty) Ltd. The fund invests in the public equity markets of South Africa. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the resources sector, which includes mining companies, mining holding companies, and mining finance and exploration companies. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE/JSE Resources 10 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. Satrix Resi ETF was formed on March 15, 2006 and is domiciled in South Africa.
