This UCITS-compliant exchange-traded fund, the Amundi Euro Government Green Bond (DR) UCITS ETF - Acc, aims to mirror the performance of its benchmark, the Solactive Euro Government Green Bond Index. This index tracks investment-grade green bonds issued by European nations and denominated in euros. Green Bonds are specifically designed to finance projects that yield positive environmental benefits. To be eligible for inclusion in the index, a bond must first be recognized as a “Green Bond” by the Climate Bonds Initiative. Furthermore, it must satisfy particular criteria, including an outstanding issue size of at least 300 million, an issuer primarily from Eurozone countries, a minimum of one year remaining until maturity, an investment-grade credit rating, and exclusive denomination in EUR. Like other Amundi ETFs, this fund offers investors an efficient, transparent, liquid, and low-cost method for gaining exposure to its underlying benchmark.
