It invests in the public equity markets of developed countries in Europe excluding the United Kingdom. The fund invests directly and also through derivatives such as foreign exchange forward contracts in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies, the returns being hedged to British Pound. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI Europe ex UK 100% Hedged to GBP Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Public Limited Company - iShares MSCI Europe ex-UK GBP Hedged UCITS ETF. iShares MSCI Europe ex-UK GBP Hedged UCITS ETF (Dist) was formed on March 31, 2015 and is domiciled in Ireland.
