The fund invests in the public equity markets of emerging countries across the globe. It seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It invests in the stocks of companies which focus on environmental, social and governance criteria (ESG). The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI EM SRI Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It does not invest in the stocks of companies involved as manufacturers or producers of controversial weapons, civilian firearms, nuclear power, or tobacco or which derive revenue from genetic modification of plants (except purely for research and development). The fund was formerly known as iShares IV Public Limited Company - iShares Sustainable MSCI Emerging Markets SRI UCITS ETF. iShares MSCI EM SRI UCITS ETF was formed on May 6, 2016 and is domiciled in Ireland.
