The fund invests in the fixed income markets across the globe. It uses derivatives such as swap agreements to invest in the local currency denominated, fixed-rate bonds that include treasury, government-related, corporate, and securitized securities and with a maturity of minimum one year. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Global Aggregate Bond Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. Xtrackers ESG Global Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF was formed on March 6, 2014 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
