Employing synthetic replication through fully funded swaps with counterparties such as Citigroup and Merrill Lynch, it is backed by high-quality government bonds held in segregated accounts at The Bank of New York Mellon, with daily mark-to-market adjustments. Featuring a low management expense ratio of 0.49%, unhedged USD base currency, and a passive long-only approach without leverage or physical delivery, this ETC avoids storage hassles while providing targeted access to WTI Crude Oil performance.
