WisdomTree WTI Crude Oil Longer Dated is an exchange traded commodity (ETC) structured as a debt security that provides investors with synthetic exposure to WTI crude oil futures. It tracks the Bloomberg Commodity WTI Crude Oil Subindex 3 Month Forward 4W Total Return, which reflects the price movements of WTI crude oil futures contracts dated for delivery three months in the future, continuously rolled every four weeks to maintain ongoing exposure without physical delivery. This longer-dated approach aims to offer a total return investment in the crude oil market, capturing both price changes and any roll yield from futures contract transitions. Issued by WisdomTree Commodity Securities Limited and domiciled in Jersey, the ETC employs a fully funded collateralised swap replication method, with counterparties including Citigroup Global Markets Limited and Merrill Lynch International. Collateral is held primarily in US dollars and euros, invested in securities from countries like the United States, Germany, and others. Base currency is USD, with no currency hedging, making it suitable for those seeking unleveraged commodity exposure.
