It is co-managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited, BlackRock Financial Management, Inc., and BlackRock (Singapore) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of European Monetary Union (EMU) region. It invests in the Euro denominated, fixed-rate government bonds with a remaining maturity of between three and five years.. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Euro Government Bond 5 year Term Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Barclays Euro Government Bond 3-5. iShares Euro Government Bond 3-5yr UCITS ETF was formed on December 8, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
