It invests in the public equity markets of Asia/Pacific region, which include Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, and Singapore. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the dividend paying stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Dow Jones Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as iShares Public Limited Company - iShares DJ Asia/Pacific Select Dividend 30 Fund. iShares Asia Pacific Dividend UCITS ETF formed on June 2, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
