About VCULX
VALIC Company I Growth Fund is a mutual fund designed to pursue long-term capital growth by investing predominantly in large-cap U.S. equities. The fund utilizes a unique multi-manager approach, blending both active and passive investment management styles. Approximately 75% of the fund's assets are managed actively by BlackRock, focusing on companies exhibiting strong earnings, robust sales and revenue growth, and the potential for capital appreciation. The remaining 25% is managed passively by SunAmerica Asset Management, tracking the S&P 500 Growth Index to provide broad market exposure and mitigate risk. This fund invests at least 65% of its total assets in equity securities, which include common stocks and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and may allocate up to 20% of its assets to foreign companies, including those in emerging markets. By blending active and passive strategies, VALIC Company I Growth Fund aims to combine the advantages of skilled stock selection with the stability of index tracking. Its diverse portfolio includes industry-leading firms in technology, retail, and other sectors, positioning it as a key option for exposure to large-cap growth stocks within the mutual fund landscape.
