Scotia Responsible Investing Canadian Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by 1832 Asset Management L.P. The fund is co-managed by State Street Global Advisors (Canada) Ltd. It invests in fixed income markets of Canada. The fund primarily invests in Canadian dollar-denominated investment grade government and corporate bonds. It invests in securities of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Solactive Responsible Canadian Bond Universe Liquid ex MPL TR Index, by using full replication technique. It does not invest in securities of companies operating across controversial weapons, alcohol, cannabis, coal mining, coal power generation, fossil fuel, nuclear power, gambling, GMO, hydraulic fracturing, military, oil sands, pornography and tobacco sectors. Scotia Responsible Investing Canadian Bond Index ETF was formed on January 13, 2022 and is domiciled in Canada.
