First Phosphate Corp. owns and develops igneous rock phosphate mineral properties in North America.

The company is involved in the extraction and purification of phosphate for the production of cathode active material for applications in lithium iron phosphate battery industry, as well as explores for phosphate, ilmenite, and magnetite concentrates.

Its flagship property includes the 100% owned Bégin-Lamarche project located in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean Region of Quebec; and Lac à l’Orignal property located in Quebec, Canada.

The company was formerly known as First Potash Corp. and changed its name to First Phosphate Corp. in June 2022.
