Earnings Call: Q2 2026

Jul 17, 2026

Summary

Q2 marked the spin-off, IPO, and commercial launch, with SEK 1.5 million in net sales and ARR of SEK 1.8 million. One-off costs impacted results, but a lower cost base and rapid growth are expected as Aira Connect gains traction.

Daniel Wikberg
CEO, Aira

Presentation together with my colleague, Ninnie, who's the CFO of Aira. Before we begin, if you wish to submit a question, you can use the Q&A buttons in the toolbar, which you'll find in the Zoom window toolbar, we will answer all questions at the end in the Q&A section. A short introduction to Aira, if you're not familiar with Aira since before. Aira is a sales intelligence platform that is helping companies find new opportunities and understand their existing customers better through licensed European company data, such as official financials, ownership trees, board member data on a total of 65 million companies. Aira was spun out of the Swedish SaaS company, Upsales, during the second quarter. The history of Aira is around 18 months building the product, and commercialization was started now in the second quarter.

We're building the company on a strategy that's based on three pillars. We have an ambitious target of reaching EUR 10 million in ARR in three years. The three pillars of the strategy is to build the best intelligence product based on all the data we license, and to use that to reach distribution. The second pillar is distribution through different kind of partner networks, such as the HubSpot partner ecosystem and other kind of partnership systems. We will also look at acquisition opportunities. We believe there are a lot of interesting data companies out there that might add to the value of the Aira offering. That's a short introduction of Aira, and let's move on and talk a little bit about the second quarter. Again, we have been spending the last 18 months building the product, building the platform.

It was launched in April, we are in the early stages of commercialization. The product is live. We're selling the product directly to end customers, but we're also selling it as an add-on to HubSpot and Salesforce customers using Aira inside of their existing CRM system. It was a very eventful quarter. We did the formal launch of Aira as a separate company. The spin out from Upsales was completed, and also the IPO on Nasdaq First North was completed in June. Again, the commercialization was started in April. Right now, as of the end of the quarter, we have an ARR of around SEK 1.8 million, and we had net sales of SEK 0.5 million in the second quarter. Ninnie will talk a little bit more about the financials. We are live, we are producing revenue, and we are seeing some early traction.

Again, I think this is the most eventful and important quarter yet in the short history of Aira, as it is an independent company now, and the product is fully launched and commercial. Let's continue talking a little bit about the different products and the different ways of go to market. Again, we have the Aira platform, which is a standalone product used by customers to get access to the financial data we offer, to do news monitoring on all their existing and potential clients, and to find business opportunities, find new clients, and find upsell opportunities in their existing customer base. What we realized quite early after launching the product was a lot of customers asked us about the ability to use the data we have inside of their existing CRM.

We were able to, based on the feedback from customers, start building the Aira Connect product, which we started building in the second quarter. We started selling that in the end of the quarter. We started signing customers right after the second quarter ended. Aira Connect is a product that is based on the data we have in Aira, the very valuable licensed data. Customers can use that to enrich their existing accounts in HubSpot and Salesforce. We believe that this is a very straightforward go-to market motion for us. It has a long runway of growth with a lot of interesting clients that we can reach. We can also leverage the existing partner network, the existing HubSpot partners. We already have discussions with several potential partners.

The Aira Connect product is starting at 5x higher ACV, higher ARR, compared to the standalone product. We believe this is a very interesting part of Aira, and we think it might be a very significant contribution to the growth we will create going forward. Where do we go from here? We will continue investing in the standalone product, but even more in the Aira Connect product. We will start launching for Salesforce customers after the summer and just start converting more clients. Looking at the kind of interest we can generate, the kind of leads we can generate, we believe that it is not far off in the future where we are able to close one or two of these clients per day. We see a very clear runway to rapid growth just by leveraging the Aira Connect and the HubSpot partner network.

I'll hand over to Ninnie for a short update on the financials.

Thank you, Daniel. Let's go through the second quarter results. You can press forward. We had SEK 1.5 million in net sales, equivalent of SEK 1.8 million in ARR. Total operating income was SEK 1.7 million , the global launch of the platform was the 15th of April. If we move on to the results, we had a EBITDA of SEK -4.6 million , an operating profit of SEK - 4.9 million , a net income of SEK 3.9 million , and that is after almost SEK 1.0 million deferred tax credit. This gives us SEK - 0.23 per share. We end the period with SEK 14.3 million in cash. We estimate going forward that we will have a monthly cost base of SEK 1.0 million .

Our operating cash flow was SEK - 4.1 million . We have a total equity of SEK 22.6 million and total assets of SEK 24.1 million .

All right. Let's continue with the Q&A. Again, you can use the Zoom toolbar if you wish to ask a question. I can just add to the financial section that we had a bunch of one-off costs in the second quarter related to the spinoff and the IPO. That's why we estimate so much lower cost base per month going forward. All right, let's give it a few minutes. I don't see any questions yet. Again, feel free to use the Q&A button or the chat if you wish to ask a question. All right. We don't seem to have any further questions, so that concludes the presentation and the conference call. Thank you, everyone, for joining, and hope to see you next time.
