Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and a warm welcome to the AEVIS VICTORIA conference call. At this time, all participants have been placed on a listen-only mode. The floor will be open for questions following the presentation. Let me now turn the floor over to Antoine Hubert.
Yes. Hello everybody. Thank you for attending this conference call. The information is that the Swiss Medical Network, our subsidiary, just acquired Spital Zofingen. It's a campus in Zofingen, Canton Aargau. Kantonsspital Aarau AG was 100% shareholder of Spital Zofingen, we bought 100% of Spital Zofingen with a share exchange for CHF 50 million. The CHF 50 million share in Swiss Medical Network has been valued at the same value as we used for the Visana Beteiligungen capital increase that we did in 2023. On top of this CHF 50 million for the equity price, we took with Spital Zofingen CHF 70 million debt, CHF 20 million of the debt are linked to the real estate and the remaining debt will stay in Zofingen. We will, as the Swiss Medical Network, as usual, work with our partner in real estate, Infracore, which is a minority shareholding of AEVIS VICTORIA.
Infracore, who is already the landlord for Swiss Medical Network, most of the hospitals, and Spital Zofingen will stay as operating company for this hospital. This is a campus with 30,000 sq m buildings. There is an acute hospital, general hospital. There is elderly care, highly specialized on degenerative disease, so for people with Alzheimer or such things. There is a partner house with a patient hotel, which is absolutely useful with our integrated care strategy, where we want to move from inpatient to outpatient. The use of a patient hotel with the outpatient procedure, it's an ideal setting for a patient that cannot be hospitalized at home. There is also a reha clinic, which is very important for all orthopedic procedures.
The reha clinic is operated by a third party, the patient hotel also operated by a third party, and Spital Zofingen is operating the acute care hospital plus the elderly care, highly specialized in neurologic disease. With this deal, Kantonsspital Aarau becomes a shareholder in Swiss Medical Network with 3.57%, and we will start collaboration with the Kantonsspital Aarau, which will be integrated in our integrated care patient journey as a tertiary care hospital. This deal is a win-win deal for both parties. The Kantonsspital Aarau will focus on its main hospital in Aargau. They will focus on highly specialized medicine, and they will also take profit of all Swiss Medical Network, referring specialized guys to Kantonsspital Aarau. The Kantonsspital Aarau is a hospital with all specialties, with the exception of the cardiac surgery. They're covering the whole range. It's the number six hospital in Switzerland.
It's a non-university hospital, but has the mandate for teaching in every specialty. It will be also a very value-added partner for our own academy, for the development of our own talent pool. Basically, we are looking forward for this collaboration. It will allow us to open a third integrated care region in 2026. Yeah, basically this is the deal. Daniel Lüscher, who is the chairman of the board of Kantonsspital Aarau, will also integrate the board of director of Swiss Medical Network to represent Kantonsspital Aarau. This deal is for us a very important deal. Spital Zofingen will be the biggest operation in Swiss Medical Network with CHF 100 million turnover. Number two is Clinique Genolier with some CHF 90 million turnover and Clinique Générale-Beaulieu in Geneva. Spital Zofingen is really a strategic move for Swiss Medical Network.
It shows also that Swiss Medical Network is a preferred partner for cantons, state hospitals. We already did a first partnership in Canton Vaud with Hôpital Jura bernois et Haut-Lac, and now it is the second partnership in Canton Aargau with a very important partner. We are open, I'm here with Michel Keusch, the CFO, and also public Chairman and CEO of AEVIS, and we are open for questions.
