iShares $ Treasury Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by BlackRock Asset Management Ireland Limited. The fund is co-managed by Blackrock Financial Management Inc., BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, and BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. The fund invests in the US dollar denominated, fixed-rate government bonds with a remaining maturity of between one and three years. It invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 1-3 Year Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Public Limited Company - iShares Barclays $ Treasury Bond 1-3. iShares $ Treasury Bond 1-3yr UCITS ETF was formed on June 2, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
