It invests in the public equity markets of the Far East excluding Japan. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI AC Far East ex Japan-Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares Public Limited Company - iShares MSCI AC Far East ex-Japan. iShares MSCI AC Far East ex-Japan UCITS ETF was formed on October 28, 2005 and is domiciled in Ireland.
