The fund invests in the public equity markets of the United States. It seeks to invest directly and through derivatives such as forward contracts in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap companies, the returns being hedged to Swiss Franc. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P 500 CHF Hedged Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as iShares VI Public Limited Company - iShares S&P 500 Monthly CHF Hedged. iShares S&P 500 CHF Hedged UCITS ETF was formed on November 30, 2012 and is domiciled in Ireland.
