About HBIG
Harvest Balanced Income & Growth ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. It invests in public equity and fixed income markets. For its equity portion, the fund invests through derivatives and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of large-cap companies. It uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests through other funds in investment grade bonds or money market instruments issued by corporations or governments that are rated BBB- or higher by S&P or Baa3 or higher by Moody's. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 60% of the Solactive GBS United States 500 Index TR, 20% of the Solactive US 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index TR, 10% of the Solactive US 20+ Year Treasury Bond Index TR and 10% of the Bank of Canada Treasury Bills One Month Index TR. Harvest Balanced Income & Growth ETF was formed on April 15, 2024 and is domiciled in Canada.
