The fund invests in fixed income markets of Canada. It primarily invests in Canadian municipal bonds denominated in Canadian dollars issued by cities, municipalities or municipal finance authorities. The fund employs fundamental analysis to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 50% of the FTSE TMX Canada All Corporate Bond Index and 50% of the FTSE TMX Canada Universe Bond Index. Global X Active Canadian Municipal Bond ETF was formed on August 12, 2015 and is domiciled in Canada.
