The company also holds 47.7% interest in the Los Azules Copper Project located in the province of San Juan, Argentina; and 49% interest in the San José mine located in Santa Cruz, Argentina, as well as interests in the Elder Creek property located in Nevada, United States.
In addition, it holds interests in and a portfolio of exploration properties in Nevada, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina.
The company was formerly known as US Gold Corporation and changed its name to McEwen Mining Inc. in January 2012.
