Global X Mid-Term Government Bond Premium Yield ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Global X Investments Canada Inc. The fund invests in fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests directly and through derivatives in government debt securities targeting a duration between five and ten years. It uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 60% the Bloomberg Canada Treasury Bills 1-3 Months, 20% the FTSE TMX Canada Long Term Federal Bond Index, 10% the ICE U.S. Treasury 20 Year Bond Index, 10% the Cboe TLT and 2% the OTM BuyWrite Index.
