It invests in stocks of companies that are deemed socially conscious in their business dealings and directly promote environmental responsibility. The fund seeks to track the performance of the MSCI Canada IMI Choice ESG Screened 10% Issuer Capped Index, by using full replication technique. The fund does not invest in stocks of companies operating across fossil fuels, adult entertainment, alcohol, cannabis, gambling, tobacco, genetic engineering, controversial weapons, nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, conventional weapons, for-profit prisons, predatory lending, palm oil, and nuclear power sectors sectors. iShares ESG Advanced MSCI Canada Index ETF was formed on April 15, 2020 and is domiciled in Canada.
