The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in Canadian dollar denominated investment grade federal and provincial real return bonds with term to maturity of at least one year. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE Canada Real Return Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Canadian Real Return Bond Index ETF was formed on December 19, 2005 and is domiciled in Canada.
