The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. The fund invests in investment grade corporate bonds with a term to maturity between one and five years. It seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Canada Universe + Maple Short Term Corporate Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares Core Canadian Short Term Corporate Bond Index ETF was formed on September 13, 2011 and is domiciled in Canada.
