The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. The fund invests directly and through other funds in U.S. dollar denominated, inflation-protected investment grade treasury bonds with remaining maturity of less than five years. It seeks to track the performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 0-5 Year Inflation Linked Bond Index. iShares 0-5 Year TIPS Bond Index ETF was formed on July 6, 2021 and is domiciled in Canada.
