The fund seeks to provide income and liquidity consistent with short-term money market rates, alongside capital preservation, by investing in CAD-denominated money market instruments and other securities issued by Canadian governments and companies, including T-bills, bankers' acceptances, and commercial paper. Eligible securities must have less than 365 days to maturity and less than 90 days average term-to-maturity. The fund manager selects securities based on economic fundamentals and capital market developments. The fund may engage in lending to earn additional income.
