BMO Short Provincial Bond Index ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by BMO Asset Management Inc. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. It invests in Canadian dollar denominated fixed rate debt securities issued or guaranteed by the Government of Canada, by various agencies of the Government of Canada, and by various instrumentalities that have been established or sponsored by the Government of Canada. The fund invests in securities with maturities between one and five years that are rated BBB or higher by S&P. It seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Canada Short Term Provincial Bond Index, by using full replication technique. BMO Short Provincial Bond Index ETF was formed on October 20, 2009 and is domiciled in Canada.
