Global X Growth Asset Allocation Covered Call ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Global X Investments Canada Inc. The fund invests in public equity and fixed income markets of global region. For its equity portion, it invests through derivatives and through other funds in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its fixed income portion, it invests through other funds in fixed income securities. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 12% of the Solactive Canadian Select Universe Bond Index, 8% of the Solactive US 7-10 Year Treasury Bond Index (Total Return), 16% of the S&P/TSX 60 Total Return Index, 28% of the Cboe S&P 500 Half BuyWrite Index, 8% of the Cboe NASDAQ-100 Half BuyWrite V2 Index, 10% of the Cboe MSCI EAFE BuyWrite Index, 10% of the MSCI EAFE Net Total Return USD Index, 4% of the Cboe MSCI Emerging Markets BuyWrite Index and 4% of the MSCI Emerging Markets Net Total Return USD Index.
