Purpose Active Balanced Fund is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Purpose Investments Inc. It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of global region. For its equity portion, the fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests in fixed income securities. The fund benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 25% of the Bloomberg Canada Aggregate Total Return Index Unhedged CAD, 15% of the Bloomberg US Aggregate Total Return Value Unhedged USD Index, 20% of the S&P/TSX Composite Total Return Index and 40% of the Bloomberg Developed Markets Large & Mid Cap Total Return Index.
