It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the S&P 500 Total Return Index (C$), the S&P 500 Total Return Index (US$) and the S&P 500 Total Return Hedged to CAD Index. The fund employs proprietary research to create its portfolio. Manulife Smart U.S. Dividend ETF was formed on November 10, 2020 and is domiciled in Canada.
