Its flagship projects include the 100%-owned W2 copper-nickel-PGE project, which consists of 353 mining claims covering an area of 21,306 hectares, as well as an option to earn a 100% interest in an additional 52 claims covering an area of 1,456 hectares located in the Ring of Fire region, Ontario; the 75%-owned Shining Tree gold project, which consists of 1,115 claims covering an area of 23,385 hectares located in the Churchill, MacMurchy, and Asquith Townships in Ontario; the 75%-owned Heenan gold project, which consists of 26 claims covering an area of 425 hectares located in the Heenan and Benton Townships, northwest of Sudbury, Ontario; and the 75%-owned Mallard gold project, which consists of 270 claims covering an area of 5,275 hectares located in the Mallard Township, northwest of Sudbury, Ontario.
The company was formerly known as Platinex Inc. and changed its name to PTX Metals Inc. in February 2024.
