For its equity portion, the fund takes short positions and uses future contracts to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests in the short-term, Yen denominated government and corporate bonds. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Nikkei 225 Double Inverse Index. The index seeks to track twice the inverse of the daily performance of the Nikkei Stock Average.
