Bambusa Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation, long-acting precision bispecific antibodies designed to redefine standards of care in immunology and inflammation (“I&I”) and fundamentally improve patient quality of life.
Our lead product candidate, BBT001, a next-generation, long-acting bispecific antibody targeting two clinically and commercially validated pathways, interleukin-4 receptor alpha and interleukin-31, is designed to simultaneously address core Type 2 inflammation and chronic itch, the two defining burdens of atopic dermatitis and other inflammatory skin diseases.
We are currently evaluating BBT001 for the treatment of moderate-to-severe AD in a global Phase 1 clinical trial in the United States, Australia, Europe, and New Zealand and in a Phase 1a/1b clinical trial in China.
We have also initiated a Phase 2a clinical trial of BBT001 for the treatment of chronic spontaneous urticaria in China.
