CHS Inc., an integrated agricultural company, engages in the provision of grain, food, agronomy, and energy resources to businesses and consumers worldwide.

It processes and sells medium-and high-sulfur crude oil into refined petroleum products that primarily include gasoline, diesel fuel, asphalt, and petroleum coke; processes crude oil to produce refined products that consist of gasoline, diesel fuel and other distillates, asphalt, petroleum coke, and other products; and processes low-and medium-sulfur crude oil and heavy-sulfur crude oil into gasoline, diesel fuel, and other distillates, petroleum coke, and other products.

The company also owns and leases a fleet of liquid and pressure trailers and tractors, which transport refined fuels, propane, anhydrous ammonia, and other products.

In addition, it processes and markets grains and oilseeds and offers seeds, crop nutrients, crop protection products, animal feed, animal health products, refined and renewable fuels, as well as refined oils, meal, soy flour, and processed sunflower products.

Further, it produces and distributes edible oil-based products. CHS Inc. was formerly known as Cenex Harvest States Cooperatives and changed its name to CHS Inc. in August 2003.

The company was founded in 1931 and is based in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
