It invests in public equity and fixed income markets of global region. For its equity portion, the fund invests in stocks of companies operating across real estate sectors.
It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. For its fixed income portion, the fund primarily invests in high yield, debt securities of real estate entities and commercial and other mortgage-backed securities.
It employs fundamental analysis to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the Bloomberg U.S. Universal Bond Index, ICE BofA US High Yield Constrained Index and the Fidelity Real Estate Income Composite Index comprising of 40% of the ICE BofA US Real Estate Index, 25% of the MSCI REIT Preferred Index, 20% of the FTSE NAREIT All REITs Index and 15% of the Bloomberg U.S. CMBS ex-AAA Index.
