Company Description
Tetragon Acquisition Corporation I is a newly incorporated blank check company, incorporated for the purpose of effecting a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses.
We intend to focus our search for a target business by concentrating our efforts in identifying targets in the alternative asset management industry: firms managing public and private funds, including private equity, buyout, venture and growth capital and credit funds and accounts.
We will target asset managers focused on investments in high-growth businesses generally, with a potential emphasis on technology and technology-enabled businesses.
High-growth businesses in this sector typically cover the internet; the research, development, design, manufacture and distribution of electronics; and the creation of software, computers or products and services relating to information technology.
Tetragon is a closed-ended investment company that invests in a broad range of assets and TFG Asset Management, a diversified alternative asset management business.
Where appropriate, Tetragon, through TFG Asset Management, seeks to own all, or a portion of, asset management companies with which it invests.
Tetragon’s Net Asset Value as of December 31, 2020 was approximately $2.5 billion.
