Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Scott Farkra and as Co Founder and Co CEO and Director of Elassian, I'm very pleased to welcome you to our 2020 Annual General Meeting. As we explained in the notice of meeting, due to the ongoing COVID-nineteen restrictions in this year's AGM is not being held in any physical location and shareholders cannot attend in person as permitted by temporary changes to UK war and in accordance with applicable public health guidelines. We are, however, very pleased to be able to give shareholders the opportunity to attend the meeting virtually, and thank you for joining us today. I can confirm there is a quorum present, and we can start the meeting. You may wish to follow the proceedings by referring to the notice of meeting.
You should have received or been given access to the notice of meeting for today's meeting. On today's agenda, there are 15 resolutions. Resolutions 1 to 15 are proposed as ordinary resolutions. The full text of the resolutions and a brief explanation of each can be found in your notice of meeting. With your permission, I will take the notice of meeting as read.
Thank you. Before I set resolutions to the meeting, I'd like to give shareholders the opportunity to ask any questions on any matters relevant to the business. You are able to ask questions via the virtual meeting platform. If you wish to submit a question relevant to the business at the meeting today, you may do so by typing your question into the Ask a question field and clicking submit. We now come to the resolutions before the meeting.
The voting on each resolution today will be by way of poll. Voting by way of poll is required by the company's articles of association and is in line with corporate governance best practices. It also enables us to reflect fully the votes of all shareholders who have chosen to vote. On a poll, each Class A shareholder present in person by proxy or corporate representative has one vote for every Class A ordinary share held and each Class B shareholder has 10 votes for every Class B ordinary share held. If you're a shareholder of record who has already launched a former proxy, but are attending the meeting virtually today, you do not have to vote again now, unless you wish to change the way you've originally voted.
Now if you do not wish to change your mind, it would speed up the poll procedures if you do not vote again now. If you're a beneficial owner of shares and your shares are held in an account at a brokerage firm, bank, dealer or other nominee, you will not be able to vote at today's meeting unless you've attained a legal proxy from the brokerage firm, bank, dealer or other nominee that holds your shares and have presented the necessary documentation for us prior to today's meeting. I do not propose to read out each resolution individually as these are set out on the notice of meeting at which you should all have a copy. If you do not have a copy, you can access the AGM materials at the bottom of the virtual meeting platform labeled meeting materials. We will now proceed with the poll and I hereby put all the resolutions set out in the notice of meeting to the meeting.
Due to the present circumstances, most shareholders will have already submitted their votes by proxy in advance of the meeting. If you voted by proxy before the meeting, you can change or revoke your proxy by voting electronically now. If you voted by proxy before the meeting and do not wish to change your vote, there is no need for you to vote now. Thank you. I now declare the polls closed.
Now based on the preliminary vote totals, each of the 15 resolutions has passed. The final voting results will be announced through the filing of our Form 6 ks with the Securities and Exchange Commission and will be published on our website as soon as reasonably practical following the close of today's meeting. We will now open the meeting to questions about the company's business and operations. If you have a question, please submit it via the online meeting platform by typing your question into the Ask a Question field and clicking Submit. I'll just wait a few moments whilst we see if there are any questions.
We have now concluded the business portion of the 2020 Annual General Meeting and the meeting is now closed. I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to the shareholders who attended the meeting virtually today as well as those who submitted their proxies, but were not able to join the meeting. Thank you.
