About Blackrock Neurotech

Blackrock Neurotech is a brain-computer interface company that builds implantable devices designed to help people with paralysis and other neurological disorders regain movement, speech and other lost functions. Its core technology is the Utah Array, an implantable microelectrode array that has been used in human brain implants since 2004 and underpins most BCIs tested in people to date. The company makes money by selling implantable electrodes, hardware and software to research institutions and clinical teams worldwide. It is also developing MoveAgain, an implantable BCI system for paralyzed patients that received FDA Breakthrough Device designation in 2021.
