About Homebase

Homebase is a team management app for small businesses that run on hourly workers, such as restaurants, retail shops and salons. It handles employee scheduling, time clocks and timesheets, payroll, hiring and onboarding, team messaging and HR compliance, plus AI assistants that screen job candidates, suggest shift swaps and flag timecard errors before payroll runs. Homebase makes money by selling monthly subscriptions priced per business location rather than per employee, from a free tier covering one location with up to ten employees to a $120 All-in-One plan, with payroll, tip pooling and background checks sold as add-ons. More than 150,000 small businesses and over 2 million hourly workers use the app, which has processed more than $5 billion of gross payroll since 2022.
