About Mesh Optical Technologies

Mesh Optical Technologies is a company that designs and manufactures high-speed optical transceivers for AI data centers. Its flagship product, the Alpha C1, converts electrical signals into light to move data between servers and GPUs at up to 1.6 terabits per second, with lower power consumption and latency than traditional copper connections. The company makes money by selling these transceivers to data center operators and cloud infrastructure providers, and it manufactures them domestically in the United States. Mesh was founded in 2025 by former SpaceX engineers Travis Brashears, Cameron Ramos and Serena Grown-Haeberli, who previously built the laser communication links for Starlink satellites.
