OpenAI is an artificial intelligence (AI) research and deployment company which offers AI models to individuals and organizations. OpenAI is best known as the maker of ChatGPT, a chat interface to a large language model (LLM) that can write and summarize text, code, generate images, problem solve, and more. OpenAI's other products include the programming tool Codex, and the web browser Atlas. The company provides access to its products and models through chat interfaces and APIs.
