About Whop

Whop is an online marketplace and business platform where people sell digital products, memberships, online courses, communities, software and services. Sellers use it to launch a storefront, accept payments, manage customers and reach buyers through the Whop marketplace. It also offers an API, a command-line tool that lets AI agents run a business through prompts and an "Economic Intelligence" engine that recommends next steps based on transaction data. Whop makes money mainly by charging fees on the payments it processes for sellers, plus an extra revenue share from businesses that use Economic Intelligence. About 25,000 business operators generate roughly $550 million in sales on the platform each month.
