The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the clean energy sector, which include clean energy production and clean energy equipment & technology companies. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P Global Clean Energy Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares S&P Global Clean Energy. iShares Global Clean Energy Transition UCITS ETF was formed on July 9, 2007 and is domiciled in Ireland.
