VanEck Australian Equal Weight ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Market Vectors Investments Limited. The fund is managed by Van Eck Associates Corporation. It invests in the public equity markets of Australia. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies, with market capitalization of more than US $150 million. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Market Vectors Australia Equal Weight Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as VanEck Vectors Australian Equal Weight ETF. VanEck Australian Equal Weight ETF was formed on March 4, 2014 and is domiciled in Australia.
