The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P/ASX 300 Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. Vanguard Australian Shares Index ETF was formed on June 13, 1997 and is domiciled in Australia.
